Rx preselector filters

Rx preselector filters

A family of passive high-selectivity RF filters installed in the antennas path of RF communication receivers to prevent de-sensitization and non-linear operation caused by  strong, out-of-band interfering RF signals.

Allow undegraded receiver performance in installations where RF receivers and high-power RF transmitters are co-located.

Filter types

  • fixed-frequency filters , bandwidth = 1% of tuned frequency, attenuation ≥ 60dB at 10% off frequencies

  • tunable filters , bandwidth = 3% of tuned frequency, attenuation ≥ 40dB at 10% off frequencies

Frequency bands

  • 100 kHz to 400MHz  for fixed-frequency filters

  • 1,5 MHz to 32 MHz for tunable filters

  • 30 MHz to 78 MHz for tunable filters

  • 70 MHz to 120 MHz for tunable filters

  • 110 MHz to 170 MHz for tunable filters

 Common to all filters

  • RF power handling:  5W CW nominal

  • Type N connectors
